Hope For Adleigh
I have been following this amazing, strong, brave little girl and her mother for some time now. I wanted to share this on here in hopes of more people donating to this amazing momma. Her story with her little girl is beyond amazing. The sacrifices she made to give her the best final time she has on this Earth. As they approach on her final moments, as a mother I CANNOT imagine what she is going through. Above is a screenshot of her page on Facebook with a link to her PayPal. Even if you cannot spare anything for this family, prayers are just as much appreciated.
Adleigh was diagnosed with DIPG last year. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) Diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG) are highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumors found at the base of the brain. They are glial tumors, meaning they arise from the brain's glial tissue—tissue made up of cells that help support and protect the brain's neurons.
It is beyond infuriating that there is next to no research being done on this. Part of the page being created is to bring awareness to DIPG and hopefully open the door to more research being done to bring up the stats on survival and maybe one day, a cure. No child deserves to go through this. No parent should have to watch their child suffer.
