If you are willing to stand up and speak your peace, you should arm yourself with the marcratic method, imo.

They say they have jurisdiction over you, but that is not how freedom works.
Don't give them a pass on their foundational argument.
You are free, not their slave, unless you agree to let them.
They play by rules they make up as they go.

Knowing the logical fallacies will sharpen your criticism, too.
