When I was little, my mom used to care for some old Russian ladies. She learned how to make Borscht, but I didn't like it as a child, but I do like it as an adult. I remember she used to make other foods that she learned from them but only that one I remember.

Wow! To meet in steemit a person who know borsch is a great luck :)! It's our main soup, but not all like it.

Hello @taliakerch I am sure she learned some Russian but that was so long ago. I will have to ask my mom if she still remembers any. I know she had to learn to cook certain Russian plates since she cared for elderly Russian Ladies and that was part of taking care of them.
