Great photos of these interesting birds! Although we have several types of Grebes in North America this Great Crested Grebe is not one of them! What a beautiful bird! I'm not sure what the 2nd one is. Thanks for posting to #featheredfriday!
2nd one is one of the ducks, its pretty wide-spread here. the 1st one is rare. I enjoyed to meet it, too. but the pics arent that great to say the truth :=) thank you for the kind words!
The pictures were good enough for me to identify the Great Crested Grebe, even though I have never seen one!
