Come and lets taste my Grandmother Special Suman sa Ibos with Langka :)

I am with Chef Jeremy Favia the new wellness chef of Healing Galing one of the Host in TV5 with my Aunty Chit Enriquez.

Chef Jeremy is interviewing my Aunty Chit what is the Special of our suman langka sa ibos?

The Special of our suman langka sa ibos is the Ingredient "Langka"
Also with cheese, gata or coconut oil, asin or rock salt and malagkit na bigas or special rice worth $1.2 or 60 pesos.

This is the proceedure how my aunt Chit prepare how to cook the suman.

Aunt Chit mixed all the incredients and then she put it on the wraper or called "dahon ng bule". After the preparation it is ready to cook.

This is me watching my Uncle Boyet Enriquez, cook the suman with langka, he is the one incharge of cooking, he is under shirt because he cooks in a very very hot temperature.

After 1/2 an hour boiling he put tawas, and then after 2 hours of waiting he put Luyang Dilaw, then after 1 hour the suman is already cook and turn of the fire.
Suman with Langka is 3 hours cooking.

Maria Resurreccion Enriquez "MARENG" the mother of Aunt Chit Enriquez and Sister of my Grandmother Semeona Resurreccion Peneira started cooking and selling suman with langka Since 1970's Thats why she is very famous in our Town Antipolo City because of her delicious Special suman with langka.
But now she is already dead because of old age.

You can find the store with picture of Lelang Mareng in right side of our Antipolo Church. Inside the Pasalubong Center.

Suman with Langka is one of the best "kakanin na kanin" food Delicasy of Antipolo City. A Good Quality Product of Antipoleneons. We also export it outside our Country Philippines.
Many Balik bayan wants yo buy Suman and brouth it in abroad for their loves once.

The Cost of 1 piece suman is 10 pesos or $0.2 Regular Size, Jumbo with capacity of 2 regular size it cost 18 pesos or $0.4 Very cheap but very delicious food.
