Feast Day of "Saint Michael the Archangel"

Last May 8th, we went home to our province to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Michael the Archangel. It was also the perfect time wherein we can visit and see our closest relatives there, sort of family reunion.

When we arrived at the Barrio, we first visited the church to give honor and respect to their patron Saint celebrating the Feast day. We all pray and ask for continuous guidance and protection. We thanked Him also for all the blessings we received each day.
Afterwards, we went to Centro to see our relatives there and eat Lunch with them. I tell you, there were plenty of foods served to us and to every visitors coming from different Barrios. That is their way of celebrating "Fiesta" in the province, welcoming and accomodating everyone.
Let me share with you some of the great foods we really had enjoyed eating with:

Pork Kare-Kare with bagoong, Sweet Chili Shrimp, Chicken Barbecue, Fish Fillet

Lumpiang Shanghai, Shrimp Tempura, Chicharon Baboy (fried pork skin), Tossed Green Salad
And the desserts:

Buco Salad, Leche Flan, Bibingka (kakanin), Ripe Banana
We really had a great time celebrating "Fiesta" with our closest relatives and friends as well. We also waited for the procession of Saint Michael the Archangel in the evening.
Before going back to Manila, we also visited our parent's graveyard to offer them flowers and light them candles as well since we're already there in their province (mother-side.) We really missed Mama Norma since we usually attend and celebrated Fiesta with her. Last year's celebration, Mama Norma is still here.
We're back in Manila on the next day, May 9th since we all sleep to the house of one of our cousins there in the province.
