So I also just found out boom shakalaka is on urban dictionary. This dish is definitely a slam dunk in my book! And to give you a giggle to go with, I think my dad might have a video of my niece saying it a year or so ago when she was just getting going on the whole talking thing. Every now and then you would hear that high pitched little kid voice yelling it out. 🤣 Lord I love that kid.

I also love that Steemit has definitely expanded my worldly culinary horizons! It's awesome to "meet" people from all over and get inspired by their native traditions. Thank you for sharing as I would totally dig putting together this meal in my kitchen, as well! And I think technically it is red cabbage, but I totally agree with you that it looks purple to me.
