I guess you missed a couple of points in the prompt since I felt no sense of temptation or Tina in this story.
There was a single card that Tina handed over to John while parting ways at Canberra bus terminal but you mentioned cards. I am not sure where you led John when he reached the address Tina gave him and the scenario that followed.
