From sleep, I heard father call my name.
Oh No!!! Evelyn was about saying yes to a question I asked her some months ago, she was going to be my girl friend.

I was already by the door when father stormed my room and with so much aggression he said "so you were awake and could not answer me", I was forced to move some steps backward because his next swing would have left a stamp of his backhand on my face but then, with a smile on his face he transitioned as he said
"Aunty Mai just called from Washington, the bottom line is pass your WAEC in good grades you would study in Washington, she assured me".
I was overwhelmed that I gave my dinner (@Stach and banga) to Iroh my yonger brother, (who food epp, mtcheeew)
"@Euguma, answer the question" Mr. @Ned my lecture said as he pointed at me ( I was already in class with some white folks and was quickly noticed not because I am black and unique but because I am a smart Nigerian so, I was kinda @surpassinggoogle). @datibomchic's early morning prayer dragged me out of the classroom before I could answer the question,GOSH!!!!! I exclaimed as I wiped my face.

A day after my finals,father's 3310 that was on silence rang so loud that I heard it from the mini garden behind our house, father was already done with the call even though I ran as fast as I could, "packup, you are going to Abuja tomorrow, Your uncle Sam is preparing your papers" father said to as I entered. I was so quick in packing that I forgot not even my drum stickkz. "Washington here I come" I unconsciously screamed so loud that Toju heard me even while playing Kaka (a black and white ball) with his friends (@ubongj, @ishotz, @ungest, @illuminatus and @gbenga).

I left for Abuja, few months into my stay I gained a rank (CHH), I bet you guessed wrong, I was the #ChiefHouseHelp. I just had to endure because the words of Ehi who is now a boss kept on playing in my head.

I was finally going to be free.
On a Thursday morning, uncle called me into his room, "your papers are ready and you are to resume school on Monday so get prepared, you would go to Warri on Friday so you can wrap up things" he said .
Washington Finally I said to myself with so much joy as I closed the door behind me. I was all packed up and set to journey at 2:07 Am (I know you've had that feeling)

Knock! Knock!! "Oga say make I carry you go park". It was the driver I had dozed off waiting for.
My journey to Washington had began. As we drove out, uncle Sam reminded me of all he had told me about my papers but he added, "you would stay with your grandparents so you could help out with ALL house chores and FARM WORKS", I eagerly nodded my head though I was confused. As I journeyed I realized uncle gave me "Not even Thanks For Coming" buh I didn't care more over, I was going to Washington..

It was Monday, I was already in sch receiving lectures in ONE CORNER but this time with some black folks in the College of education, Warri, I patiently waited for @datibomchic to wake me up with her early morning prayer but that never happened, I then realized that Warri was actually meant to be my fantasy but Aunty Mai and Uncle Sam gave it a little twist.

I had to console myself with the fact that WArri, WAshington and WAkeup have two letters in common... So I "Wokeup in Warri's Washington"

That is the reason I keep steem because I gats get money make I no hide my face for future...
