Covering the Bases: Chapter 1

in #fiction8 years ago (edited)

This story would rightly be termed "erotic fiction", so if it is deemed unsuitable for Steem, please provide comments to that effect and I will not publish subsequent chapters. If it is suitable, I thank you and hope you will enjoy my work.

Bill was walking out of the theatre, having just watched the latest sci-fi thriller to hit the big screen. A forty-something single man, his brown hair was showing the early signs of graying at the temples, while his body skirted the boundary between 'semi-athletic' and 'comfortable-with-a-few- extra-pounds'. He was wearing an old leather jacket over a polo shirt and comfortable jeans. "Oh my god! Bill!" He spun around towards the sound to find Andrea half-walking, half-running towards him. Andrea, a twenty-something woman, styled her light brown hair in large flowing curls that draped her shoulders. As she approached, Bill saw she was wearing a jean jacket over a colorful cropped t-shirt, a white skirt covering her legs down to just above the knee. "My friends and I came here to catch a movie, but now they have ditched me!" Andrea was nearly in tears, as she stood before Bill. "It's a good thing we ran into each other," he said. "Do you need a ride home?" "Yes! Oh, that would be wonderful! Thank you!" Andrea nearly squealed as she wrapped her arms around Bill, adding a hug to her vocal response. They walked together through the lobby, out the front doors and into the parking lot to Bill's car.

Andrea engaged Bill in chit-chat while he was driving them back to their neighborhood: weather, current political trends, economy. She slowly turned the conversation towards more personal topics: what she likes to wear when she goes out on the town, her favorite perfume (which she produced her wrist to Bill to sample), and how she had just broken up with her last boyfriend. As they approached Andrea's house, she brought out her phone, keyed in a code, and caused the garage door to open. "Can you just pull in for a moment, Bill?" she asked. "I want to talk a bit more" "Sure," he said, as he slowly entered the available space and placed the car in Park.

Andrea pulled at the chain around her neck, causing the attached pendant to swing back and forth. "Do you think this is pretty? I just got it the other day". Bill watched it as it moved to and fro; the reflection of the limited light off of its curved surfaces started to fuzz his thinking a bit. "Um, yeah," he managed to spit out, "it is very pretty." Andrea held it closer to his face. "Touch it, it feels really warm." He reached out, and caressed the back of it with his index and middle finger, while his thumb brushed the front. As his skin made contact, Bill felt an onset of a cloud over his vision and his thoughts, but still he retained his grasp upon the pendant, as his head bobbed forward as it he was about to fall asleep.

Andrea did not seem surprised by this reaction; in fact, she seems quite pleased. "Can you hear me, Bill?" she asked; his head bobbed up momentarily as his only response, his mind still reeling from the onslaught of power. "Good... very good," she cooed, as she stroked the top of Bill's head. "You and I are going to have a very good time," she said as she unhooked her seat belt. "The pendant has been handed down from aunt to niece; it gives the wearer the ability to control over any man of her choosing, just by a single touch... just as you are right now," she explained, despite Bill not really being able to understand on a conscious level. "Now we are going to complete the ritual: kiss me," she commanded. Bill heard the command through the fog in his mind, turned towards her, his lips pursed as he leaned in to kiss Andrea.
