Short story

I had thought it would be the usual pain I always felt each time it happened, so I relaxed and listened to music acting like I didn't see what was coming my way, I had always drank at least 3 sachet of pure water 2hours before I went to bed, but yesterday night I was so broke and I didn't have a dime on me to even buy water, my last option was to drink from our very colorful well water, I couldn't bring myself to drink such water. I received a call from bala my course mate , interrupting my music , he said he needed someone to talk to, he asked if I could come over , I told him I was koboless and couldn't afford my t.fare to come over, he said I should take a taxi down to adeyemi crescent and he would pay for it when I get there, I agreed, i still felt throbbing pains in my throat due to lack of water, I swallowed my saliva as an aid to my thirst, I looked through my closet and settled for a slightly tight gown , I should have searched for something moderate but the thought of combing through my closet that night for an appropriate dress was exhausting. I closed my door and stepped out, I stopped a taxi and told him to take me to adeyemi crescent, on getting there , it was already 8pm , I flashed bala with my little flashing credit, he called back instantly, I told him I was close by and he informed me he was already waiting at the entrance of his neighborhood,
like this now I dun even know how to end this lie,
