The sound of Meliora’s alarm bursting fills the room. Heavy hearts, heavy eyes as if she aches for eternal slumber. The coldness of dusk touches her skin, the thoughts of yesterday and tomorrow are having their conversations in her head. “Ah, yesterday’s and tomorrow’s are deciding for today’s one” she jokes to herself. Bracing the coldness of an early morning shower “Would it be better today?”

The mighty sun starts to set as usual. “It would be a favor if everything can be as certain as the sun” she thought to herself. She goes to work as per usual “Students ain’t learning by themselves” she said. In her car, she listens to hitz.fm radio and yet again finds herself longing for the memories as she reminisced them through the songs. As she was stuck in jam, her mind wandered somewhere else, it took her back to times where she used to be in the passenger seat in front instead of driving on her own, where she used to have someone to share life with. Those days when she knew nothing but joy. A time she learned to love someone as much as she loved herself. Meliora in her younger years thought that she would be beautifully wedded to him.

As his words linger:

"You know when you are sad, time seems to be going slow? And when you do something fun, time seems to be going by
fast?"

And Meliora said "Yeah"

And he asked her...

"So why is it that when you look at a clock, each second ticks at a constant rate?"

And she put her hand on her head in disbelief of what she just encountered.

Little did Meliora knew then, that was him expecting her to cope with things without him as her perception of time has shifted.

Tears began to flow on Meliora’s cheek, she wiped them and drove to school as the traffic light turned to green “Don’t want him to see me like this” as she remembered he will be sending his 7 years old son to school as usual.

Even after 7 years, still and ironically every day she hopes for the day to come where she will finally feel "Meliora".

#Be blessed with joy and happiness and by the way,
Meliora means "better" :')
