An intense dislike of chocolate she'd had since childhood had always puzzled Tessa until her mother's deathbed revelation brought back to her a memory she'd long suppressed; it was with chocolate Tessa's father would reward her, on the nights he'd creep into her bed for those special father-daughter cuddles.

Well done, @deirdyweirdy. Repressed memories must be a really frightening thing to face as an adult. You always bring up the tough subjects! That's a good thing. We need to be challenged to think about the experience of victims, and how we can avoid condoning their abusers.
