Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020) – Movie Trailer #2

In 2019 we had a movie about Joker and 2020 is the year of his girlfriend… Okay, ex-girlfriend… The premiere of the movie Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is scheduled for the beginning of February, so we have less than a month to it. Just to make some things clear, the movie will not be serious as Joker was… It is done in the manner of the Suicide Squad movie, so more humorous and half-superhero… :)

As I said in the beginning, the story follows Harley Quinn, the ex-girlfriend of the famous villain Joker, after their split… Harley decides that she had to go on with her “fantabulous life" and kick some asses… To do that, she joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya in a mission to take down narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis...

The director of the movie is Cathy Yan, a well-known by movies Dead Pigs (2018) and According to My Mother (2016). The movie is written by Christina Hodson, good known by her work on movies like Bumblebee (2018), Shut In (2016), or Unforgettable (2017).

In the main roles are Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad (2016), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), I, Tonya (2017)), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane (2016), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), Smashed (2012)), Golden Globe winner Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), Trainspotting (1996), Moulin Rouge! (2001)), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (TV Series Lovecraft Country (2019), Underground (2016-2017), The Great Debaters (2007)), Oscar nominee Rosie Perez (White Men Can't Jump (1992), Fearless (1993), Untamed Heart (1993)) and others.
