Morbius (2020) – Movie Teaser Trailer

After a short break with some interesting, but good movie trailers, we are back with another comic-book movie, this time from the Marvel team. This is the second Marvel movie distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, it wears the name Morbius. It is coming to theaters next summer and we will meet a new super-hero. In the main role is Jared Leto and this is his second comic-book character after playing the Joker in DC Extended Universe.

The story follows a biochemist Michael Morbius, who after discovering that he has a rare blood disease, is prepared to do anything to find a cure for it. In the end, he finds the cure, but he accidentally infects himself with some form of vampirism...

The director of the movie is Daniel Espinosa, a well-known director and producer by movies like Snabba Cash (2010), Life (2017) or Safe House from 2012 with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds in the main roles. The screenplay is written by duo Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Gods of Egypt (2016), Dracula Untold (2014)), based on a comic book of Gil Kane and Roy Thomas.

In the main roles are Academy Award winner Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Suicide Squad (2016), Requiem for a Dream (2000)), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), TV Series Emerald City (2017), True Detective (2015)), Primetime Emmy nominee Matt Smith (TV Series Doctor Who (2010-2017), The Crown (2016-2017), Last Night in Soho (2020)), Golden Globe nominee Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)), Tyrese Gibson (Baby Boy (2001), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015)*) and others.
