Rumble (2020) – Movie Trailer
I found it too early for releasing a trailer for the animation movie which will come to the theaters next year, but it looks that guys from Paramount Pictures think differently. Their newest movie named Rumble is almost ready, but it is scheduled for a year from now. Judging by the first reaction on the trailer, it looks that the general public isn’t thrilled about it, but maybe that will change when we see more trailers until the premiere, which I have no doubt that we will see in the next months.
The story of the animation movie is situated in the world of monsters where the main entertainment is global wrestling superstars. A teenage girl Winnie wants to follow the steps of her father and coach one monster for this competition, but maybe the one that she has found isn’t a “champion material’?
The movie is directed by Hamish Grieve, known by his works in animation departments for movies Rise of the Guardians (2012), Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) and Shrek the Third (2007). This is his first full-length animation movie as a director. The movie is written by Etan Cohen (Holmes & Watson (2018), Men in Black 3 (2012), Idiocracy (2006)) and Matt Lieberman (Scoob! (2020), The Christmas Chronicles (2018), Free Guy (2020)).
The voices in the movie are coming from Primetime Emmy winner Ben Schwartz (TV Series Parks and Recreation (2010-2015), House of Lies (2012-2016), Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)), multiple Primetime Emmy nominee Will Arnett (The Lego Movie (2014), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), TV Series Arrested Development (2003-2019)), Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers (2018), Emo the Musical (2016), Big Bad World (2015)), Terry Crews (Idiocracy (2006), The Expendables (2010), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013)), Golden Globe nominee Tony Danza (Don Jon (2013), TV Series Taxi (1978-1983), Who's the Boss? (1984–1992)) and others.
