'Green Lantern Corps' still make in DC
Until now the development of the Green Lantern Corps project is known there has been no significant progress. Especially with the condition of DC Extended Universe is not good after the Justice League disappointing show, not a few who worry about the fate of the Green Lantern Corps will be on the edge. But this assumption finally vanished thanks to the statement of Green Lantern Corps script writer, David S. Goyer , while attending an event.
Goyer confirmed the Green Lantern Corps film project is still being developed. But when asked how far the development is rolling, Goyer claimed not to know about it. The reason, with the current DCEU conditions, Goyer believes there is a revamping that is being done, sehigga he can not talk more about the development of the Green Lantern Corps .
Goyer himself is not a new person in the DC film world. Noted, he is the author of the trilogy of The Dark Knight , Man of Steel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice . In addition to being a script writer, Warner Bros. had reportedly wanted to make Goyer director Green Lantern Corps . Unfortunately, this one news has not been confirmed Goyer. What is clear, Goyer's prepared script will feature two Green Lantern figures as a central character, namely Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The two actors who have been associated with both characters, including Armie Hammer ( Call Me by Your Name ) for the role of Hal Jordan, Tyese Gibson ( Fast and Furious ) for the role of John Stewart.
Described as a Lethal Weapon set in space, the so-called Green Lantern Corps will be a buddy cop movie, which generally presents a duo action whiz who has opposite characteristics. Details are still confusing claim, in Jordan is a former test pilot military, and now he is a veteran member of the Green Lantern forces. While Stewart, reputedly will be younger, and before becoming Green Lantern, he served as a sniper in the military.
The first Green Lantern Corps project was announced in 2016. At the same time the film is confirmed to air on July 24, 2020. It is not known for sure whether the studio will change that date, or continue to launch Green Lantern Corps according to the initial release schedule.
