At the same time, I see people posting entire articles with a link to the source. At least they link to the source, bit that isn't exactly fair use. So I'm not sure why some people are getting away with stuff like and other people are getting flagged for much less.

99% of people here are here for the money.
But when someone starts making a bit of money, say $100 a day, it is usually deemed as 'raping the reward pool' and must be stopped at all costs! 'For the future of steemit and the well-being of all Steemians.' don't get me wrong I love steemit. But there are far too many people on here who feel that it is their duty to police steemit and make up their own rules which is bad for user retention rates and the overall experience of the user.
