10 things I learned from the 2008 crisis
1 .Live your life in the moment and don't wait for tomorrow to do the things you love. Tomorrow never comes.
- Don't trust banks. I moved my accounts from Wells Fargo who I had been with for 15 years to local credit union.
3.Inflation kills your savings. Groceries have risen quite a bit since then. I know shop at Costco and buy in bulk in the event of some kind of natural disaster, another banking crisis or civil unrest. *Don't dwell on those things, it will make you crazy. - Invest for the future. Silver, cryptos, cash on hand, dividend paying stocks.
- Most people are either apathetic or oblivious as to how the system works against you or how to get off that crazy train.
- Condo prices are the first to crash and the last to rise.
- Listening to Alex Jones will disturb your inner peace. LOL. Nothing is worth that.
- Save for a rainy day. Ok I learned that long before then.
- Getting involved in the democratic process is important. Write a letter to your representatives. Silence is consent.
10.Money can't buy you happiness but at least you can suffer in comfort. :)
