How To Get Unbanned From Paypal and Avoid Getting One

in #finance5 years ago (edited)

It was a good morning but then you received a shocking news " your account is temporarily limited". When you know how unreliable paypal can be, you will instantly feel terrified that you will never get back your account back and the money in it. I thought so too.

I know, you must be thinking " why the hell are you even using it?". It's mainly the only payment that works in Indonesia that lets me transfer to bank apart from crypto. I make money outside cryptocurrency and majority of the customer are paypal users. So, unless I am starting to get more crypto rolling in, it will be hard for me to leave paypal completely. For now, I am just gonna shush about all the horror stories of paypal and how unethical they can be with the customers.

But here's my horror story.

There are two types of paypal ban: the temporary and permanent ban. I got the temporary ones. So, now how do I lift the ban?

First you must know that as long as you are not doing something illegal, stand on your ground. The temporary ban will only ask you to reconfirm your personal data. They will need you to provide, Identification, address, your transaction history.
The second step is to submit those documents in the Resolution Center menu. From there, scroll down until you see the submit documents button. Click and start uploading the documents.

Third, wait. If you have comply to Paypal's accetable use, there is nothing to worry about.

Finally, you can wait up to 3-4 days before they permanently lift the ban.

If you ever look at Paypal's Accetable use list, it's basically very limiting. The only seemingly reason to use paypal is for nothing. Inherently because everything you do is illegal even it's not directly illegal. I understand that it is mostly for customer's protection but it's very limiting.

Yes, there are many fintech out there but internationally, Paypal is the only one that is bold enough to operate within almost 5 continents. So, is there a way to avoid the limitation? hardly, it's like playing a gamble.

If you can, try to refrain from using the service if you think what you're doing is against their acceptable fair use. It's better to use cryptomonedas, a.k.a cryptocurrency.

I got that same frustration from PayPal 8 years ago. My fund which is around 5000 USD got frozen and never get back for stupid reasons. From that same time until today I never used PayPal or anything like it.

What was the reason?
