I was having the conversation with my friends last weekend about student loans and we were saying how lucky we were to only be in no more than 10k debt max in our uni years.
The year after our courses started in 2005, the universities tripled the tuition fees to £3,000 then tripled them again a couple of years later! I certainly wouldn't say the education system increased 9 fold in the same time frame!

Wow, tripled in just a couple of years is a lot!
I know, I feel sorry for anyone who wants to go to uni here in the UK because it's a 30 year debt effectively!
