Waiting for Finny: First mobile phone on blockchain

Finny will finally be launched tonight in Barcelono. For months the excitement has been building up for the launch of the first ever phone to be built on Blockchain. Finny is being developed by Israel-based Sirin Labs. The phone is not only built on on blockchain but it also has features an embedded cold wallet storage for your crypto currencies. Soccer super star Messi is a brand ambassador for the phone.

The phone is priced at $1000 and has dual screens. The phone will also feature a Dapp store. This can be a cradle for all apps developed on blockchain in the future.

All set for the launch

The phone appears to be sleek. A prototype of the devise was unveiled earlier this year by the Sirin Lab guys and it looked like an extremely good looking piece of hardware. Although the device is being launched during bear time, if this gadget is successfully adapted by the crypto community will be one of the key infrastructures that we need for mass adoption.
