Thanks for the report @alaqrab! So glad to hear the Cranston fire is done. I heard from a friend that the Tahquitz peak fire lookout survived the fire. I had seen aerial photos of it surrounded by flames and figured it was doomed. I talked with my mom today and she just got back from backpacking northern Yosemite with her hiking club. She was around the Tuolumne meadows area and she said they only had 1 really smokey day. She said usually it was clear in the mornings and would get a bit hazy in the late afternoon.
