Just heard about steem. Signed up 11/17. Still trying to figure out the uses. Am very interested in hunting deer, salvage vehicles, real estate, earning money, construction of buildings (as that was my career). Just turned 65 and still feel the urge to explore new things. I love good sci-fi, but not the blood and guts kind. Stargate was one of my favorite movies. Things that could be possible and exciting to discover. Really like ancient architecture and ancient mystery, like how in the world did all those blocks get made at Puma Kunta? That is a real puzzle. Those stones that predate the Inca empire where they look like they were melted into place with no regularity are really interesting too. The Pyramids, who takes on a challenge like that? Building that would have been awesome to watch, from a regal point I am sure, from a worker point, probably not. I went to see the Panama Canal in 2009. Just wanted to see first hand how it worked and discover the effort it took to engineer. Wow, that was some challenge and brought prosperity to that region. I keep thinking about a high speed freight train that could distribute goods across the US from the west coast to the east coast. Let's face it, our rail system is outdated and one important part that made the US. prosperous. I am married and have been for ten years this time. Done it a couple of times before, but didn't work out. I live in S.E. US on the coast and on the water. I have liked water sports, but am getting too old. I cast net for shrimp right off my dock. I have a direct 10 minute access to the Atlantic ocean. Can launch a small boat 25' or so right off my yard. Live near Charleston, SC.
