@polebird: ❤️ Handstands and variations on the pole! ❤️
I've been going after a deadlift straddle handstand (on the pole with one arm pulling down through the shoulder) for about a year now...and FINALLY I see results! It just happened pretty recently, where I was able to pull them off more smooth and not struggle as bad or have to start with a hop to handstand. I played around with some variations - I love that doing a handstand using a pole gives you the ability to make shapes with the body that you otherwise would not be able to do (just due to gravity!) I want to continue to work on making and finding other pretty shapes. Thanks for watching!
Love,
Jess

aww thank you so much! thanks for your continued support! :)
You're welcome! I've shared your content with some local polers (is that a term lol). They "don't trust digital currency." Trying to change that ha!
HAHAH it is a term!! :D lol yesss it would be so much fun to have more polers and aerial artists on steemit! thank you :)
What do you do to build wrist strength? Being able to hold yourself up with one hand while grabbing the pole looks like it would put a lot of pressure on your wrist.
I have terrible wrists, mainly because I write (type) for a living, and am trying to strengthen them, wondered if any exercise or technique has helped.
hmm just doing exercises such as down dog (yoga) or plank or doing some handstands against the wall, being consistent, and just pushing yourself within limits helps strengthen the wrists. I didn't do a particular exercise only involving the wrist, and I actually had really weak wrists before I started getting into yoga and pole. I remember some classes I could only hold plank/down dog for about 30 seconds before my wrists would ache so bad!
Okay, that's helpful thanks. Yeah, I have a hard time doing down dog for more than 8-10 seconds. Keep up the great work.
You getting there step by step... It's all in the core your bhandas... The energy locks... Looking strong... 💪🎯
Thank you!! Yeah still way more goals I have for this type of handstand and variations! :)
You will get exatly where you want to be in your practice and development... It's onky training and your mind who sett your limits. So it's no limit then... And when you getting there you will see more or longer bigger goals... Keep up. The good work... Sister 🌟
