Had enough of the 7 day black and white photo challenge? Good, cause now there's a new meme-type "challenge" going around on steemit, and I got tagged by the brilliant @ruth-girl . So you just might be next!
What's the challenge this time?
As simple as the title says: write five facts about yourself.
Here are five random facts about me, in no particular order. I decided to keep them short and to the point, but I can elaborate on any of them.
1. I am an actual mutant, in a way. I have no wisdom teeth and will never grow them (according to my dentist). It's apparently a genetic thing. I also have no toenails - according to doctors - for the same reason. Weird genetics.
(I am 34, and never had those on my dental xrays)
2. I can speak three languages (Russian, Hebrew and English), but can only write in two. I can probably express myself in writing in Russian, but I rather not as it takes me forever and I sound like a 1st-grader.
3. I have three significant others - @mrlightning , @poet and the prettiest girl on Earth. Yes, three of them. No, it's not easy.

4. I also have three cats. Two males and a female. I only now noticed my cats and SOs are the same number and sex. And that's weird.

I know you love math, so math time!
There are four arrangements of 3 sexes, either MMM, MMF, MFF, FFF, since order among them doesn't matter. However, they don't have the same chance of occurrence. MMM and FFF have a 1/8 chance, while MMF and MFF have a 3/8 chance each.
So if you had MMM cats, the chance of also having MMM SOs would be 1/8.
If you had FFF cats, it would be the same 1/8.
For MMF, the chance would be 3/8 of an overlap.
For MFF, again 3/8.
So it can be said there is a 1/4 * 1/8 +6/8 * 3/8 chance of an overlap, which is 31.25% chance of overlap!
Another way to look at it, is that there are 8 arrangements of 3 sexes:
MMM
MMF
MFM
MFF
FMM
FMF
FFM
FFF
For each of those, there are 8 other arrangement of sexes on the other set, so a total of 64 combinations.
The MMM and FFF overlap with only 1 set from the other side.
The other combinations all have 3 matches.
So 2 matches, plus 3*6 = 20 mathches out of 64, 20/64=0.3125, or 31.25% chance.

This was an interesting post, thanks for sharing! I'm a mutant too, my second and third toes on both of my feet are completely webbed together :) Did you show off your lack of toenails when you were younger? I remember getting a kick out of the reactions to my toes in elementary school haha.
Wow. That's pretty awesome! No, I was always very self-conscious about it. I am a naturist so no problem with people seeing me nude. Just... not the toes.

I need to get a second gimp in the cellar that can do math, the one I've got now is only good with his hands, bless him! My accounts are due in the tax office by the end of the month! ;)

Getting them isn't really a problem, it's the fact they take a lot of training up!
A busy city centre on a Friday or Saturday is a good time to go gimp searching., otherwise it's some dodgy website online I guess. Fortunately, I've not had to rely on that myself.

I've been actively shooting photographers for 35+yrs, so I'm familiar with the works of many of the renowned photographers.

I can write a bit when I get going and I'm a blues/bluesy musician too, and will be popping in the open mic. So I'm one of those hippy creative types that still dreams about an age of "content is king" :)

That might be an issue. Have you SEEN the real estate prices in Israel?!
No, I've no idea of prices over there, we're very lucky where I am, it's a cool place, both city and house, but the house is cheap even for here and would cost maybe 10 times as much or more in London etc.
Just as well being a musician and art photographer, lol (art as in I don't commercial or weddings, well, unless it's friends, not that I have my head up my arse ;) ). Still, one day, content might just become be king.
Mmmm, we all have deep dark cellars in the UK........ Not sure what that says about us. ;)

Oh, @poet (Itai) is still on פמיטראש while I gave up on it fairly early on. I am just not girly enough for it. :)
Significant others in Hebrew is simply בני זוג

These were all very interesting facts to learn, but I beg you to indulge me with a sixth:
How in the bloody hell do you get your cats to do that?! We have only two, they are individually the sweetest, cuddliest things on earth, and they detest each other in the most awful ways that shall not be named here.

They snuggle for heat in the winter. If you can call winter in Israel winter. Also, they've been together since they were tiny so I guess that helps. They do fight and even wound each other, but when there is peace, there's a clowder.

Evolution. These are things we don't need since we don't climb trees and our jaws have shrunk.
I think you not having wisdom teeth is actually you being more evolved than us lol. I think I read somewhere that eventually no humans will grow wisdom teeth but evolution takes sooo long that only a small part of the population doesn't grow them at this point.
Yeah, I've been told that. I've also been told I might not have an appendix, but I don't know. Waiting for those mail-in DNA tests to get more advanced before I order one in. Should be interesting. I am very genetically versatile, AFAIK. Russian, Jew, Persian, Ukrainian and possibly some other stuff too.
No toenails? Really like just smooth toes? Do you still paint nail varnish on the ends when you wear sandals? :) So interesting.
No, they're kinda like dents in my toes. It's like they try to grow SOMETHING but it's more like skin than nails. And I just wear closed-toe sandals cause it looks too weird.
I am not a mutant. Nor do I have super powers.
In fact after reading your post I feel tired and inadequate and now need a nap. (3?, I have a hard enough time keeping up with 1).
