Julia Child Rose is Special

This one is what we call a Floribunda rose. That means it doesn't just give you one big flower on a stem; it gives you a big bunch or cluster of flowers. So it gives a huge show of color, which is lovely. It's the perfect color for a chef's rose, no? It's a gorgeous, yummy butter-gold or creamy yellow. When it first opens, it's a deep color, almost amber, and then it softens up as the flower gets older. It looks rich, like a good French sauce.
