THE TRINITARIES: Flowers

in #flower7 years ago

Hello to all the community of @ Steemit, today I want to share with all of you about this plant that is very common in the country where I live Venezuela, I speak of the "TRINITARIES" their scientific name are: Bougainvillea, Bugambilia, Bugambilias, Santa Rita, Veranera, Trinitaria, Veraneras, Paper flower, Paper vine, Buganvilia, Buganvil, Santarrita, Camelina. All are their Common or vulgar Names, is the way they know it in the places that are sown.

It is native to the tropical forests of South America (Brazil, Peru and Argentina), although it is widely seen here in the country Venezuela.

They can be found or appreciated in different colors: white, fuchsia, yellow, pink, purple, orange, but here in Zulia territory they see fuchsia and pink colors; usually they are abundant and they hide the leaves almost completely

This plant tends to grow very fast and when it begins to bloom it begins to spread throughout its thorny trunk and when its trunk is covered it begins to rest on other plants or something else that it has around it, its maximum height is 1, 8 and 12 meters.

The trinitarians bloom in spring, summer and until the beginning of autumn, let's say it is a plant where it grows almost all year round. Many say that they are not so pretty because they are not a flower like the others with petals or leaves, but having them sown or growing helps to dress the flowers that are around them even more because of the small flowers that cut in the middle or center of its leaves are born yellow and white; in the image you can see the white ones

The people of the parish of which I live plant them or use them to cover their walls more in the front of their houses so that they receive a lot of sunlight, so they grow even faster. When you have a lot of time (years) planted you have to take care of them, especially since their leaves tend to get weak and to be damaged even faster.

I encourage you to have this beautiful plant in your gardens, you can use it to decorate what you want and not cause problems.

See you in a next post where I will continue to share even more of our beautiful nature.
