Perfect vegetable risotto

I've spend nice weekend at home, so I had time to make few nice meals I would like to show you.
I made a perfect vegetable risotto with green beans, it's easy to make, it doesn't take to much time and what is most important it's healthy.
You came home from work, you're tired and don't know what to eat. Usually you're thinking “Who can cook now, I will bay some fast food.” Then you eat burger or pizza or something with a lot of fat, without any veggies and what cost more.
It doesn't have to be like that. I'm going to show you how to prepare great meal, that is tasty, healthy and cost less than a fast food.
My perfect vegetable risotto :)
Ingredients:
- rice
- green beans
- red beans
- chili pepper
- onion
- garlic
- carrot
- bay leaf
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- turmeric
Preparation:
In two separate pots boil the green beans and the rice, best odds for cooking the rice is 1/3, one cup of rice three cups of water. Green beans will need about 10 minutes (I'm using frozen one, so it need to boil for 10 min ) and rice about 15 minutes. Just sprinkle the water with the pinch of salt and put the bay leaf in to the pot with rice. Don't put oil in the water, it's pointless. (That is the good tip when you're cooking pasta).
On the other side finely chop the onion and fry it in the pot with two-two a half table spoon of olive oil, till it's transparent and golden. It sounds weird but you'll know when you see. Then add finely chopped garlic with chopped carrot and chili pepper and fry it for two minutes. Add salt, pepper, turmeric and fry it a little bit, so spices can wake up. In that time rice and green beans are done, just remove rice from the heat and leave it a side. Drain the green beans from the water add it in to the pot and fry a little bit so it can absorb the spices you added. Try it, it's last moment for adding the salt.
Add the rice and mix it up, on the end drain red beans from a can and add it in to the pot so it warms up a little bit.
Voilà. You made a perfect vegetable risotto.
