folding@home project

Hello good people, I believe it's important that especially now that we're going through such a hard period in our lifetime to contribute to the work that disease researchers are doing in order to find cures for various diseases.
Recently, about a week more or less ago I saw a post about this project and I thought to give it a try.
Since I'm not good in explaining what exactly this is about, I'll attach the project's webpage so that you can get information about it and why it's important that more people join in with their computers' resources. Everything you need to know is shown at their webpage in few words and you'll get the message straight away. I could quote their words but it's there for everyone to see, so I don't think it's necessary to do it.
My experience with the project is that I actually downloaded and installed a software which is running in my computer and it does it all by itself without requiring any action from the user. What the software does in our computer is that it connects to the project's network and since their research needs numerous calculations and they simply don't have the capacity to handle all those calculations on their own machines, thus they need all the help that they can get.
Let me share with you screenshots to give you an idea. After having installed the software, I check it running by clicking the icon at the right bottom of the computer monitor shown below

and then click Web Control at the top

This opens a tab in my web browser associated with my own progress of it running in my machine, see below

I've put in boxes a few things from the above picture that one can make his/her own settings

Starting from the box at the top of the picture I've left the Any disease option, but the drop down menu offers some particular diseases in case one has a particular preference from those offered.
In the second box it's been given the option how much of the pc's resources can be used, so one can slide the cursor to Medium or Full or just leave it to Light as I have.
At the bottom box it says that even if you close that webpage it won't stop the software from running and that's a good piece of information to know.
On the right of the above picture it's showing that I'm supporting the Coronavirus project, but since I'm sticking to the Any disease option, this is fluctuating, meaning that yesterday and today I'm supporting this project, but the previous days I was supporting other projects.

I think it's worth it for as many people to join this effort and assist the scientists do their work.

Lastly, when you run the software and start earning points, which points show the overall progress made since it first ran, you can click the See stats and that's opening another browser tab where it is showing the computer's stats running the software and there when clicking the Total score a file will request to download, which is actually a certificate of how many work units have been completed up until then and it looks like below
