Out of 100 followers 0 read my posts
In my current FB account, which is active for about 7 times the time this steemit account exists, I have considerably less followers, and admittedly near zero involvement, but not a round zero like here, and in the past I had more involvement on my FB page, which nowadays is quite inactive.
I prefer Steemit over FB due to its free nature and due to its limited financial incentive, but such a statistic is telling.
resteembot and its likes are not even a part of a solution, and certainly follow me, follow you is not either, and also the rent-a-vote services did not help in this matter, but they at least boosted my reputation.
I may post in the future why resteembot, its likes and follow me, follow you are a guaranteed failure, except for their handlers which reap their income, or their steem power in the future.
After my previous blog post, I wonder if this is considered @originalworks

What it takes is time and effort. I say find some content that interests you, comment, follow, over and over. I would also encourage you to upvote. When you left a comment earlier on mine, you didnt upvote which is ok but not going to get you active users because we check ;)
I did all that you wrote, and my blog posts stay unread.

If I did not upvote ur prev comment, it is probably because I did not agree with it, or benefited off it.
Not everyone has sufficient SP to be able to generously spread upvotes at less than 100%.
My vote is negligible at 100% and I also did not find how to set it to less than 100%.
No, I do not use it from a smartphone, I use a PC.
