The best pizza!
Hi fellow Steemians,
today I will get into another one of my passions, Cooking.
And first of all as a lover of food I will share with you a really easy recipe that will guarantee you a great pizza! For guests or for your own, since you can freeze the ones you don't eat right away!
For this recipe you will need:
1 kg Flour
600 Ml of Water on normal temperature
50 Ml of Oil (Olive, Soy or Corn)
1 Tsp of Salt
1,5 Spoon of sugar
15gr of dry yeast
For the sauce you will need:
1 Lt of tomato sauce
1 Onion
1/2 garlic
Some oregano, some pepper, some chilli pepper (if you like) and some sugar. (1,5 Spoons)
The pizza consists of 3 steps and It will take you about 2 hours to get it ready (1,5hs waiting)
Step 1
Mix some Flour, the sry yeast, the sugar and the salt all together in a bowl. Then add some water and forma a homogenous mass. Once this is done just cover it up (with some kitchen-towel) and leave it for 30 min or until the mass(dough) has doubled.
Step 2
Once the 30 min passed you will take the mass and get the rest of the flour in, the water and the oil. And mix it properly until you reach a new consistent mass (dough). Again put it aside and cover it up (again with a kitchen-towel), this time for an hour (or until it doubled).
*Here it would be perfect to do the sauce so that when it is ready you will have everything to put them directly into the oven.
Sauce: Cut the garlic, the onion into small pieces. Put them into a pan with some oil and cook them a little, once they are cooked add the tomato sauce and keep on cooking for a while. Then add the sugar (important to get the acidity away), the oregano, pepper and chilli at your own discretion. Cook another while (between 5-10 min) and it should be ready.
Step 3
Once the mass (dough) is ready just put some flour on a previously cleaned table and start taking out part of the mass to form the pizzas, at the same time you can start preheating the oven. You can make them small or large depending on how you like them. I normally do them medium sized (it gets you about 8/9 pizzas)
Once you get 2/3/4 done(I recommend to do them 1/2cm to 1cm in height depending on how you like them) put some flour on a oven pan and put them on it and into the preheated oven. (it should get most of the heat from below).
Let them in the oven about 10 min (on about 200degrees) and check if once you take the oven pan out if they still stick to it they are not done, if they move and you see the dough cooked on top, you can proceed to put sauce on them(only a little) and put them 5 more minutes in the oven.
Once this is done, take them out and store them somewhere until you repeated this process with the rest of the mass (dough).
You will have several pizzas ready. The one you want to eat, just put them in the oven again with more sauce (5 min) then put the toppings on them you like and they will be ready to serve!
On trick that I always do is to use the cheese grated on top of the pizza.
The rest just wait until there cold and then you can freeze them!
Hope you have a great day and enjoy these delicious pizzas!
