Preparing Guasacaca (Traditional Venezuelan Avocado Sauce)

Happy day to everyone. This time I want to let you know the Venezuelan traditional recipe of a sauce called "Guasacaca" which the main ingredient is avocado, and is used as a companion of many foods such as meats, grills, arepas, etc. The ingredients and preparation may vary depending on the region or country, for example, in Mexico we know it as Guacamole and so on in different parts of the world.

INGREDIENTS ✍

Then you have the necessary ingredients to prepare The Guasacaca, many of the ingredients can use them to your liking and add additional ones if you want.

❑ 1/2 Big Avocado
❑ 1/2 Onion
❑ 1/2 Carrot
❑ 1/2 Peppers
❑ 2 Sweet peppers
❑ 5 Garlic cloves
❑ Coriander
❑ Vegetable Oil
❑ Vinegar
❑ Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

The preparation of this sauce is so easy, it only consists in chopping the ingredients and liquefying them. I recommend adding Avocado as a last ingredient at the time of liquefying to make the process easier.


1. First, we start with the avocado, remove the shell carefully and the parts that are not in good condition. The amount of avocado you want to use will depend on the amount of sauce you need, half avocado is enough.
2. After having washed the rest of the vegetables very well, we proceed to cut them so they can be added without problems to the blender.
3. Then add all the ingredients already chopped to the blender, and liquefy until get a homogeneous sauce.

And in this way we have our exquisite Guasacaca ready to be spread with meals, it should be noted that the taste of this sauce is divine, the combination of its creaminess and the taste of vegetables makes your palate explode with pleasure.
