Homemade Crunchy And Tasty Shawarma

Guess what I made today?
I made a crunchy and tasty shawarma. I got motivation from my friend who loves a lot of pastries and junk; she made a crunchy shawarma specially for me when I paid her a visit. It was so tasty that I kept reminiscing about its taste and thought of having it at all times. I appreciated her for arranging such a delicious snack for me; I was pleased. For some people, shawarma may be termed as junk, but I do not perceive it that way; it's something I could eat for lunch. It's based on individual preferences, as I mentioned earlier.
Although I have been ordering shawarma from the pastry shop anytime I feel like tasting it, this time it was different; I decided to prepare it by myself. Shawarma fillings could either be made with beef or chicken; I prefer using chicken in the filling. I used the already made tortilla wrap (shawarma bread) for the dough cover.
For the filling I used the following ingredients:
- Lettuce
- Cabbage
- Carrots
- Mashed chicken
- Soy sauce (tomato ketchup)
- Mayonnaise
- Seasoning powder
- Sausage
- Irish potato.
I love shawarma because it's very easy to prepare. It doesn't require much process in making it. I call it a "fast snack" because its preparation does not take up to five minutes. Here is a simple method to make your tasty and crunchy shawarma:

Boil and season the chicken. After seasoning it, cut or mash it.
Wash and slice the veggies (cabbage, lettuce, carrots) and the Irish potato.
Mix the veggies and Irish potato in a bowl with the chicken, add soy sauce and mayonnaise, and stir till it's evenly distributed.
Pour the filling into the tortilla wrap, add the sausage in it, wrap it and place it in a non-stick pan. Allow it to toast for 2-3 minutes.
Your homemade shawarma is ready to be consumed!!!

The first bite of it was pure bliss; it was just as crunchy and tasty as I love. I shared it with my relatives; they enjoyed the great taste I made. Their bellies were not only filled, but they were also proud of me.
