What a great Idea to use hazelnuts! must be so delicious. I have been using dried fave beans recently to make falafel and I find the texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I soak the fava beans overnight and then just blend everything together in a food processor. Next time I will add some hazelnuts to the mix. I also agree that baked falafel are much better than fried falafel. Thanks for a great post!
