First ever oven-baked dessert - Classic Chewy Cookies!

I admit I am a foodie. I also cook too especially desserts but never have I made them through an oven. Mostly, no-bake recipes. So last sunday, my brother and my sister-in-law had a new oven and gave their old one to us but it still works. Me and my sister do have quarrels but never in a times like these - DESSERTS! My sister had the idea to make cookies first and searched for tastemade recipes for cookies. We chose CLASSIC CHEWY COOKIES.

We measured, melted, sifted and mixed and bought a brand new baking tray for cookies! The process took about 12 -15 of oven baking.

We got soooo excited! Pardon us for being from the stone age. Our first try was, well, the placement of the cookies like the distance was not perfected but the taste? hmmm delicioso!

Although, it ended up like this...

They merged together that's why we sliced them like these. Whilst hot, we ate them. whoo! so yummy and chewy with chunks of chocolate on the inside.

We did a second batch, now with parchment paper unlike the 1st one.

We made big ones and ended up like these too! hah!

They look and taste like the cookies from a five star hotel we bought for about Php 38.00.

Next time we know what to do. Adjust the taste a bit and the size, but for a first timer.. not too bad.
