thanks for sharing this! I am a TOTAL falafel fan! I never tried using other beans.. but YES nice idea!
Now i recently posted a normal falafel recipe.. THis is a very special one that also doesnt fall apart if you follow the directions nicely! Maybe try that!

Oooh yours look super @eco-alex - perfect in fact! You're right about moisture = falling apart in the pan... I think that was my mistake when I first made them years ago, because no recipes ever mention about keeping the mixture dry even though it's crucial for successful falafels! I just do them in the oven now as it's easier and it means I don't have an oily pan to wash out as I'm not so keen on washing up haha :-) Thanks for sending me the link, I am following you now for more of these fab recipes!
Yep, its a delicate balance with these.. and if they arnt crispy they arnt really falafels! Oven is always best for health although i think they may come out a bit drier so if u are using the oven you may even want to keep a bit more moisture in them...
