Hi my steemians friends!

I am 30 years old and I am "multi intolerant" to gluten, glucose, lactose, baking powder, cocoa, caffeine, alcohol ... I can not eat much or not at all for some foods... Crazy life no?! 😅

But, I will prove to you that it is possible to have food intolerances and to eat healthy and tasty things! I want to share with you my gastronomic discoveries and recipes compatible with a "special diet" or simply with a "normal diet" (amazing, no ?!). Even if you are not intolerant, taking care of your body and diet is necessary to make you feel good ... 😋


🌱 Today I want to share with you my first raw plant-based diet lunch at "Bionectar". 🌱

When I came back from Paris, I landed in Girona, Catalonia and took the opportunity to test this surprising restaurant.

The philosophy of this restaurant is to offer raw food and 100% bio plant-based, merging the bio-agriculture, the art of cooking and the art of nutrition. They use healthy and innovative cooking techniques combined with enormous amounts of creativity and the best ingredients on the market. Which gives an amazing, nutritious and delicious result as you will discover in this article!

When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a smile by a young woman who was none other than Eva Roca, the founder of "Bionectar". She is an eco-chef and health coach and also runs the CRUDIVEGÀNIA cooking and natural food and vegetable school. In 2014, she created the first vocational training in Spain to become an expert in nutrition and eco-chef. In 2016, she received the Biocultura Eco-Gastronomy Award. Congratulations to her for this beautiful professional career! =)

The concept of this restaurant immediately seduced me! You sit on a large common table or on small spaces a little more intimate but really charming too.
Then, you serve yourself for cutlery, placemats, glass and water.

Almost as if you were at home but without having to cook ^^. Then, the waitress comes to take your order. Here is the menu ...

I was thrilled to discover that all dishes are gluten-free! It is rather rare, even in vegan restaurants, often these are only a few gluten-free options so the choice is limited. But here I could have fun without worrying! =D

To start, I ordered the "Duo humus + crackers"

beetroot hummus + chickpea hummus + carrot stick and seed crackers.

Then I shared with my friend these two dishes: "Raw pizza" & "Love burger"

Activated buckwheat pizza with almond cheese, greens, sun-dried tomatoes and olives

Activated seeds burger + vegetables + caramelized onions + essene bread

And the best for the end! By pure greed, we tested each a different dessert.

I ordered the carrot cake and my friend the chocolate cake!

A true delight! I am surprised that a raw dessert can be so good! Congratulations to the creator of this place and her associates who do a really amazing job in cooking! = D

In summary, if you want to discover a place 100% bio plant-based and raw food, I recommend Bionectar 200%! The service is impeccable, the food fresh, surprising and the setting is definitely worth it! You will not be disappointed friends, flamingo's word ^^

I did not want to lose weight but I assure you that by avoiding gluten, lactose and glucose you can lose a lot and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this article, it reminded me, I have to make more raw recipes :-)
Although I don't have any food intolerances like you, I introduced some raw recipes to make my vegetable and nut intake more interesting, as it gets quite boring eating them just in a salad.
And you are right, raw desserts can be epic, although, contrary to common belief, quite heavy on the calory side...
