Try this Yummy Delicious Rice Meal 'Bisi Bele Bhath'# Food
Hi Friends... Today I am here with a much tasty meal made with rice, which is very nutritious too!!
It's called 'Bisi Bele Bhath'...
The meaning of Bisi means Hot.
Bele means Dal
Bhath means rice.
So this is Hot Dal - Rice... :), made with mixed veggies just like Pulav. But it really tastes good and for me it tastes better than pulav!!.
Now to make, we need these Ingredients...
Good quality rice 1Cup.
Tur Dal - 3/4 Cup.
Onion - 1big
Salt for taste.
Tomato - 1.
Curry leaves.
Oil or ghee 1 table spoon..
Veggies beans, carrots 200 grams each.
Capsicum - 1.
Couliflower 1/4(optional)
Roasted Peanut, Cashew nuts and Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Method. Cook rice and Dal together in a pressure cooker, with a pinch of salt.
Cut the vegetables, onion, tomato, capsicum and Couliflower.
Take a thick bottom fry pan or a non stick pan and roast onion in oil or ghee till done. Now add tomato pieces, beans and other vegitable pieces, sprinkle little water, bit salt, keep stirring and covered till done.
Add 2 table spoon full of Bisi Bele Bhath powder to this and add the pre cooked Rice and Dal. Add salt for taste. Mix well and again add some water and bring it to a boil.
Give a seasoning with ghee and curry leaves. (Or with an oil of your choice for vegans). Garnish with Peanuts or Cashew nuts or we can add both, which gives a very good taste!!
How to make a Bisi Bele Bhath mix??
We need these things.
Red Chilly, Coriander, Black gram Dal, Cumin, Fenugreek, Cloves, and Cinnamon,
Roast one by one and powder it using a mixie. Or otherwise we get this powder everywhere now. That is M. T. R. Brand masala... :)
So I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Try doing it and share your comments. With much love and regards, @geetharao....

It looks really delicious mam, Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe. It seems like a typical south Indian meal. I tried only dosa and idli but now I gonna try this too. :)
Bisi-Bele-Bath is a very versatile Indian dish, popular in Karnataka, where rice is cooked along with dal, vegetables and spices. Along with its alluring taste, it’s a one pot meal in which protein, carbs and veggies are cooked to perfection and seasoned with Indian spices.
Thanks for delicious recipe
Yeah, your all recipes related blogs are good. And you explained everything about recipies.
