But it is the same fish. They just give it that name here in the US to make it sound nice, it is equally delicious regardless of what name they give it lol.
It's not a Bass. It's false advertising and fraud.
Interesting point. Considering that sea Bass is nothing exotic. I catch them all the time, patagonian tooth fish from southern part of the hemisphere, well I would much prefer that than the common sea bass of the Croacker family. Just from some one that has fished for over 35 years and cooked both commercially and as a hobby. Not quite understanding the hamg up on the name. Regular Sea Bass also known as Corvina in some parts of the world, is a very common fish, it is delicious but common
