You can make it slow and over a longer time for sure to let the flavors simmer together and become stronger but this way works and gets you a good punch of flavor too :) Mushrooms or like I used here, cauliflower work really well to hold in the spices! Enjoy, it's much easier to make it with veggies so maybe you'll find you have it more often now!
