MY HOME MADE MAYONNAISE

went down to the store a few days ago to buy a jar of mayonnaise because I prefer it to butter and was amazed at the price so I decided to get the recipe and try it out myself.
Mayonnaise is simply an emulsion of oil and egg yolk with a little acidity and salt added to brighten the flavors with sugar. The most delicious and healthiest mayonnaise might be that one you make for yourself from scratch at home.
Mayonnaise can be made using blender or whisker or folks to blend.
BASIC INGREDIENTS /RECIPE

2 eggs
Half teaspoon of salt
A teaspoon of sugar
Vegetable oil
Vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Whisker or blender

DIRECTION

*gather all ingredients together
*seperate the egg(use the yolk)
*pour the fresh lemon juice into the
bowl with egg yolks and whisk well
*add your sugar and salt and whisk well
*slowly, a few drop at a time,pour the oil into the bowl while whisking constantly till it starts thickening.

  • if it's too thick and little water, a teaspoon of water at a time
    ===store in the refrigerator, best served cold.
    N/B:-if you have an electric mixer or blender, just pour in everything accordingly and lift the blending spoon slowly to thicken.
