Easy Yakisoba
Weekend special, raining all day in Seattle. My treat for hubby. It' super easy fried yakisoba and eaten with rice congee and some long Chinese fried dough. My hubby said, his mom makes the same dish when it's raining.
My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time less then 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 lb yakisoba or any yellow noodle
1/4 of whole medium cabbage-thinly sliced
1 medium carrot-sliced long stripes
2 spring onion-cut as you desire
2 of any fishcake-sliced
2tbsp sesame oil
2 1/2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tbsp of dark soy sauce
Method:
Rinse the yakisoba in cold water and strain it. Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil over medium heat, then add the cabbage and the fishcake.
Turn the heat up to high, stir the cabbage and add the yakisoba. Stir well with soy sauce and dark soy sauce, add the spring onion and turn the heat off.
Serve.
