(Travel) When in doubt, eat Trout!
I found out about this popular local dish when I was in the city of Manali in the Himalayas. From what I remember, I think it was called Grilled/Tandoori Trout. This trout was caught from the river Beas which flows right besides the restaurant.
The fish was accompanied with mashed potato, mint chutney, fried rice and lemonade. The presentation was definitely as tasteful as the fish.
Manali is an alluring hill station situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The restaurant is named 'Cafe 1947' and it is situated in old Manali.
