Invasive plants are plants that grow and reproduce so fast that they crowd out all other plants and reduce the diversity of the natural environment and this is especially true of plants that are grown in places other than where they originated, because there are often no natural enemies to reduce their growth and maybe the new climate is favourable to excessive growth.
Most countries have some laws in place to limit the spread of these plants so you can't buy young plants at a commercial nursery any more
