Filipinos like to take merienda or snacks seriously. It is normally a heavy snack shared by families, colleagues or friends.

Pork empanada is one of the favorite snacks especially in the afternoon break. It goes with a bottle of coke and a plate of palabok or pancit. You can never go wrong with this trio! :)
