Samsa! What is it?

Samsa called small cakes, often having the form of a triangle or crescent. Due to the high prevalence of samsa in Southeast kitchen, part of the filling and dough recipe varies depending on the different national cuisines. Below we will try to understand not only the recipe samsa Uzbek cooking at home, but also to the embodiment of dishes from India.


How to cook samsa at home?

As part of our recipe as the filling will be the prime beef with spices. Traditionally, these cakes are baked in a TANDYR, but since we are preparing samsa home alternative is a conventional oven.


Ingredients:

/pack puff pastry (Puff);
/minced beef - 540 g;
/onions - 250 g;
/egg - 1 pc.
/salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Before you cook samsa at home of puff pastry, leave the dough defrost plate on a floured surface. Minced beef mixed with onions. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, mix well.

Roll out the dough layer, cut squares out of it and place the stuffing. 

Take edge of the circle at the center so as to form a triangle. Cover the surface with beaten egg samsa.

 

Samsa Bake in the oven first at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
