Nice post. Flushing is a very eclectic place. My spouse and I lived a few blocks from Main Street, Flushing for 16 years. We suffered a huge loss, our cats and home in a fire. Flushing is similar to China Town, but Chinatown is located in lower Manhattan. Not Queens. Flushing , Queens, has some great places like The Town Hall and Arts Center. The Old Quaker House near Main Street (about 4 blocks) is one of the first Quaker homes. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed it!
