CASSAVA
Cassava is a subsistence and cash crop. It is one of the major agricultural tropical root crop in Nigeria.

Cassava, which is being planted in most parts of Nigeria is richest in carbohydrates, it is also a source of mineral like calcium, phosphorus, manganese, iron, fiber and more.

In Nigeria, Cassava is used majorly for a common food, garri. Garri is what Nigerians use to prepare eba, a solid food. Other products from Cassava are starch, chips, flour, bread, fufu,animal feed, alcohol.
This farm produce form one of the Nigeria's major exportation. Countries that are interested should come to our land for the product.
in Venezuela (country where I live) also cassava is very abundant here is prepared, parboiled, like chips, in fact there is a snack made with yucca, and the most traditional is a thin and crunchy cake called casabe. Cassava we call it YUCA
