RE: The real cost of your eggs: Chicks shredded alive
Cute chickens. I am vegetarian for almost 15 years and never had a shadow of regret. I don't particularly like eggs but when I eat them I do try my best to be from organic farms and from chickens that they have a good life. I always try to choose food that comes from a good source, some times I cycle myself to the farms to see the animals. I believe that lately people started to care more and I do hope that those shredding processes will become just a horror story from the past.

I gave up meat about 25 years ago, but I still eat fish, eggs and cheese. We each make our own choices. Mine were influenced by animal cruelty, but I didn't know about this until now. Everything has a cost and we have to decide if it's worth it.
